Hi, I'm Silas.

I'm Silas. I'm a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at JFrog, where I build the automation that keeps cloud security working without anyone babysitting it: detection pipelines, agent-driven workflows, and guardrails that make the secure path the easy one.

I got here the long way. A math degree, a master's in cyber intelligence, eight years as an M119 gunner in the Florida Army National Guard, and a run through detection engineering at ReliaQuest and SpyCloud. Along the way I taught Security+ to veterans and career-changers, which taught me that if I can't explain something simply, I don't understand it yet.
